Calling on Truth

Values

Love
Our ministry approach is loving, and not condemning of others. “God is love” (1 John 4:8). "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another" (John 13:34).
Truth
Jesus is “the truth” (John 14:6), and the Bible is infallible. "Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth" (John 17:17). We uphold objective truth from God, and the truth about His created design. We do not bend to lies of the culture that compromise the truth of Scripture and lead to ungodly lifestyles.

Holiness
Holiness is expected for God's people who have been saved by the blood of Jesus and indwelt by the Holy Spirit. “As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, 'You shall be holy, for I am holy'” (1 Pet. 1:14-16).
Humility
We value humble attitudes in every ministry team member. “Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for ‘God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble’” (1 Pet. 5:5). Jesus "humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross" (Phil. 2:8).

Honor
Ministry team members should honor/respect each other, and teach others to do the same. "Outdo one another in showing honor" (Rom. 12:10).
Forgiveness
Receiving and extending forgiveness is vital for everyone's spiritual health. God offers forgiveness through Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38; Eph. 1:7), and requires believers to forgive others (Matt. 6:14-15). "As the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive" (Col. 3:13b).
